Thaweesak Thananan

Thaweesak Alexander Thananan is a Thai-Austrian freelance actor, MC, anchor, and voice artist best known for portraying versitile roles such as foreign or mixed-heritage characters in Thai historical and romantic dramas. And as dedication to his work he would often research the historically accurate dialects of each language spoken by the roles as well as mannerisms and trends in the specific time period and geographical location for creating the character. Some of those roles include: - Cave Rescue (2019) – supporting role in the dramatization of the Tham Luang cave rescue as the rescue diver sgt. Saman Gunan who died saving the trapped children. - Jan Dara: The Beginning (2012) and Jan Dara: The Finale (2013) – played Chom, the mysterious lover. - Mist of Love (2020) – portrayed Tony, an american chef (2019) and russian Colonel Kowalski (1893). - TharnType (2019, and Season 2 in 2020) – played Tharn’s father. - The Kinnaree Conspiracy (2022) – appeared as Capitaine Paul, a gay french seacaptain from the 1900s. - Sri Ayodhaya (2017) – played the historical burmese General Ne Myo Thihapate where he had to learn to speak burmese for the role. - Rak Nakara (2017) – portrayed victorian era englishman John Brackin. On top of his acting career he is also the voice talent on several projects such as the airport authority of thailand, ptt plc, disney+, cargil meat, asoke skin hospital, foodland, egat. He was also a radio dj personality and news anchor for more than 10 years on mcot's met107fm. He has taught voice talent workshops with other voice actors in bangkok in a collaborative project with several studios in bangkok. Recently he has been more active on social media production with several channels as a side project as well.
